Following the Firebreak, please find a summary below of The Welsh Government & Wales Golf’s Covid-19 guidelines, along with the subsequent club’s operating procedures that will be in place as of Monday 9th November.


-          There will be no legal restrictions on travel within Wales for residents, however, any cross-border travel should be for essential reasons only.

-          Self-assessment for Covid-19 symptoms is expected. No person should leave home to travel to the club if they or someone they live with is symptomatic or suspects that they may have been exposed to the virus. Government guidelines should be followed.

-          Members are encouraged to follow best practice for travel, including minimising the use of public transport and car sharing. Please walk or cycle if possible.

-          Gatherings or more than 30 people outdoors or 15 people indoors is not allowed.

-          Face masks must be worn indoors, unless sitting to eat and drink.


-          Online BRS tee booking before you play is essential

-          All golf must commence from the 1st tee

-         All visitors must provide proof af address in the pro's shop before play.

-          Golf can be played in fourballs or less with people from different households

-          Good practice is to arrive on the first tee, changed and ready to play, no more than 10 minutes before your tee time.

-          Social and physical distancing measures must always be taken.

-          If you share equipment, it must be cleaned before and after use.

-          Flagsticks must be left in the hole


-          The Practice chipping greens and putting green will be open.

-          The Practice range will be open, but the ball collection facility has stopped for the winter, so you must use your own practice balls.


-          The Professional’s shop will be open, however due to staff furlough it will be on reduced hours which are:

Mondays - 8am till 5pm, Tuesdays through to Fridays & Sundays 9am till 5pm, Saturdays 7am till 5pm.


-          The main front door and staircase will now be open.

-          The Bar and restaurant will be open.

-          Only table service will be provided. Please do not approach the bar to order food or drink.

-          Card payments only will be accepted.

-          Please ensure your name has been entered on the register when you arrive in the bar/restaurant.

-          Table sizes must not exceed 4 people (not including children under 11 years old)

-          If all the people attending are from the same household, the number can exceed 4.

-          Face masks must be worn indoors, unless sitting to eat and drink.

-          One course Sunday lunches will commence on Sunday 15th November. (Menu and booking info will be sent out this week)

-          The Friday night ‘two meals for £15’ offer will commence on Friday 13th November. (Menu and booking info will be sent out this week)

-          Opening and closing Times are as follows:

Bar – 9am till dusk (Friday’s 9am till 10pm)

Kitchen – 9am till 3pm (Fridays 9am till 7pm)

-          Access to the administration offices is not permitted. If you need to speak to any of the admin staff, please call the office and we will come out to meet you in the main clubhouse area.

-          The snooker room will remain closed


-          The trolley and bag storage areas will be open. Please ensure you wear a face mask.

-          The toilets and changing rooms will be open

-          The showers will remain closed.
