With scores of 71/71 at Prestatyn and 70/75 at Wrexham he earned 50 points and moved to 6th place on the Pinnacle Golf Union of Wales Order of Merit.

Lee Jones also played well at Prestatyn but the last round at Wrexham let him down leaving him in 10th place on the Order of Merit with 37.50 points.

Looks like an interesting contest is developing.

She won the Scottish Ladies Open Strokeplay with impressive scores of 70,72 and 73 to reach 10 under.

Amy now leads the GUW Ping Ladies Order of Merit with a total of 460 points which gives her an impressive lead of 295 points over her nearest rival.

Lee Jones also had a great result tied 2nd for the Trubshaw Cup in South Wales. This earned him his first points of the year and moved him to 3rd place in the GUW Pinnacle Order of Merit.

Well done to both and long may it continue.

This gives 7-day membership (except competitions) at 50% of the normal full year rate for each existing membership category.

1. The maximum number of visitors per club per day is 8

2. Restricted to one round of golf per visitor per day at a cost of £20 per person

3. Excludes weekends and bank holidays

4. Only available to full playing members (eg excludes Country Members and includes 7-day, 6-day, 5-day members)

5 All visitors are required to pre-book either via the Pro Shop or Office and produce appropriate Club ID on arrival (eg Membership Card or Handicap Certificate)
