Freda Statham, our first female President, was welcomed into her new role by past President, Richard Fleming.

Following the ceremony Mr Captain, Jane Brennan, the new Lady Captain and Lloyd Hughes, the new Junior Captain successfully launched their drives towards the first fairway. As you might expect, the Lady Captain’s drive was not the longest but was however the only one that finished on the 1st fairway!

Following the Drive-In, our fantastic caterers provided a superb 3-course sunday lunch to 80 plus guests. This follows their very successful Saturday Bistro Evenings and their usual  Sunday Lunch offerings which have both proved to be extremely popular.

The recent Clarins evening was also a great success and raised welcome funds towards the club refurbishment.

There are only a few tickets left for New Years Eve so hurry if you want to join in the fun.

There are also some tickets still available for the Captains Xmas Dinner on Friday 16th December and these can purchased from the bar at £14 per head.

Also don’t forget the Flower Demonstration by Keith Smithies on Thurday 1st December. Again tickets are available behind the bar at £3 per head.

There is also a special offer available for social membership over the Winter months so you can enjoy the wares of our new catering team and these events.

Message from the new caterers

“Dear member,

Our names are, Paul, Andrea and Chris Adams. We are thrilled to be appointed as the new caterers at your lovely golf club.

We are a family run operation and started about 8 years ago with our first operation “Bistro Conwy”. Since then we have been operating our other bistro in Betws-y-Coed.

It is your club and we want to provide the food and service you want. We will be taking over on Monday, September 19^th and will initially be offering a small day-time menu for the first couple of weeks as well as fulfilling other pre-booked functions.

We will start a full Sunday Lunch menu on 9^th October and a Saturday Evening menu from 15^th October.

We look forward to meeting you all in the near future.
